Friends of Durfee
The Friends of Durfee are committed to maintaining the historical mandate of Durfee Conservatory of education, research, and service.
This mandate, originating with the founding of Massachusetts Agricultural College in 1867, has facilitated public enjoyment of the Conservatory and associated gardens for over 125 years. With a growing plant collection and new gardens, Durfee Conservatory will continue to be a focus of the University community for long into the future.
The Friends of Durfee pledge their energies to this public trust as well as their commitment to make Durfee Conservatory a beacon for environmental understanding in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
